In 2020, England is under the command of a totalitarian nazi-like ruler named Sutler. Following a devastating plague that has wiped out the United States and much of Europe, Sutler maintains a strict, clean society that allows for no infection. Or argument.
Any objection, eccentricity, or disobedience is intolerated and those who do so...tend to vanish. Either tortured, experimented upon, or killed. Amidst this oppressive society, a terrorist emerges. He calls himself V, donning a Guy Fawkes costume, and is determined to revenge himself upon the corrupted government. His ultimate pinnacle to awake the people is the destruction of Parliament - which he promises within the year.
Amidst the chaos, the corruption, and the fear, one man is determined to bring the most powerful regime in the western world to its knees.
This is a free form RP based around 2020 London. But there are a few plots that you may wish to keep in mind. Currently, we are coinciding with the movie, V for Vendetta, emphasizing the year between V's announcement and the explosion of Parliament. Are you a supporter of the regime? If so, will you track down the terrorist? Or are you a rebel yourself? If so, will you launch your own attacks on the military police? Will you free your loved ones from Creedy's notorious black banks? Or will the hostages escape themselves? Could Larkhill still be in use? More experimentation, more viruses...have you escaped? Are you contaminated?
What movie is the RP based off of? When in the movie does it take place?
This RP is based on V for Vendetta, and takes place during the year between V's declaration to the public and the blowing up of Parliament. Should he be successful,we will continue to RP past that period as well.
Which characters are allowed? Both
Other - It is not necessary to have seen the film unless you'd like a canon character. However, it may be helpful if you want to familiarize yourself with the environment of the story.
