Is there some sort of plot? If so, what is it? - There is no linear, site-wide plot. It's usually made up in the threads themselves.

RP era and type (war, etc.) - OR is a free-form role-playing board set in its own original world.

Are beings other than humans allowed? If so, what type? - Pretty much anything is allowed within logical boundaries.

Is magic allowed? - Yes.
