Hey guys.
My name's Tim (obviously) and I've been a roleplayer for a little over 6 years now. I began as a newbie, doing one-liner posts or less (haha) and through the communities I've been involved with, have gained enough experience and knowledge to write three novels. I've also learned many, many things that I can relate to offline life that I wouldn't have gotten normally. I'm also not completely a nerd.
Regardless.
Recently I've acquired a good amount of webspace, bandwith, and other resources. What I wish to do with it is help others create communities similar to those I've been fortunate enough to participate in these last years. Similar to Acornrack or AvidGamers (RIP). What "we" offer is listed below:
-First off, all listed below is 100% FREE, free of cost and free of advertising.
Each site gets the following:
-FTP Account for their directory, which lets you upload files directly to your spot on the site.
-SMF Forums preinstalled with the ability to add on any themes or extensions you like
-WordPress preinstalled to make a quick and easy site or blog for your forums
-Any other software offered by Fantastico De Luxe, full list is www.netenberg.com/fantastico_scripts.php
-PHP 5.2.6
-Apache version 2.2.9 (Unix)
-And if you don't like any of that, you can use plain jane HTML and upload it to your site
-Unlimited email accounts via Google Apps (email@clockworkrp.com) (Please note that this process is NOT automated)
-Subdomain (yoursite.clockworkrp.com)
-Oh yeah, it's free.
Keep in mind that this is not automated, so you can't just click five times and have a site for you. Likewise those sites that do that host ads and whatever. We don't. We're pretty easy to talk to, and we're open to ideas. Whatever we can do for you, in our power, we will.
If you're interested, send an email to tim@clockworkrp.com . The site is hosted at clockworkrp.com and it is considered to be a "public beta". While I have my current site in a bit of a skeleton formation, once another RP jumps on board the site will change to suit more than one RP on the server. Keep in mind I'd like to have our site as RP-plentiful as possible and will do whatever I can do ensure it is.
Also, I'd like to stress again that this is not automated. If you have AIM, this would be good, if not MSN, if not then email will suffice. We want to make sure you guys are happy. Again, geez, we're people too. :-P

Thanks guys,
