Is there some sort of plot? If so, what is it? - Damphirs (half-human/half-vampire) and Moroi (mortal vampire that can use either fire, earth, water,air or the rare spirit magic) attend a school for vampires. they think they are safe from the Strigoi (immortal and evil vampire) who are out to kill or turn the Moroi into one of them. Damphirs, though having no powers and only having had fight training) lead the dangerous life of being the guradians of Moroi, protecting them from the Strigoi, who attempts to enter the school. The gates of St Vladimir, school for vampires is now open.
