Are auditions of some sort required? - Yes; characters must be accepted before you can start playing.
Is there some sort of plot? If so, what is it? - There is.
In the land of Atriann, there exists a populace of two races; the humans, newcomers to the land in the grand scheme of time, and the Elementals, an older race with the powers of one of six forces of nature. This roleplay takes place in the aftermath of a horrible civil war between the two nations of Basquetae and Kama-Rahn. You have a choice to make: will you aid one of the kingdoms in their fight for peace or revenge? Or will you remain a rogue wanderer to these lands? Your path is yours to take.
RP era and type (war, etc.) - Takes place during the aftermath of a war
Are beings other than humans allowed? If so, what type? - No, only humans. Normally, your character will be given magical powers, and later training, as the roleplay progresses.
Is magic allowed? - After you are given it.
