I feel strange. I've been coughing up blood since Thursday, and I keep blacking out. My neighbors aren't acting right--no one is acting right. People are speaking incoherently but that's not the bad part. No--the longer I listen, the more I can understand them. Please help me. --May 4th, 2007
He throws the note to the side, steps over the corpse of a man, and reloads his gun. Monsters, the whole population. So sad that an entire island had to be turned into these mindless plaga-carriers, but as with everything, there is a reason. They are worthless, he knows, and are nothing more than target practice now. What are a few lives if Umbrella can get itself back on its feet?
A helicopter had come in earlier today carrying U.B.C.S. soldiers--Umbrella's own clean-up crew. They'll be dead by the morning, but he relishes the thought of testing the skills of the island's inhabitants against them. The S.T.A.R.S. members that arrived not too long ago won't even last the night. None of them know what they're getting into, and that's exactly what he wants.
Separate Ways is an AU Resident Evil-based roleplay that takes place in a sparsely-populated portion of rural Canada. Play as a S.T.A.R.S. member, Umbrella employee, U.B.C.S soldier, or a hapless civilian in this struggle to uncover the truth and survive the devestating consequences of human greed.
