Are auditions of some sort required? - You must submit a character application before roleplaying
Is there some sort of plot? If so, what is it? - Freakopolis is an x-men RPG that does not include any x-men canons or factions from the books/movies. Freakopolis is the name of a concentration camp for mutants.
The plot will progress further once more members have joined. The site is still fairly new.
RP era and type (war, etc.) - It is set in today's date; characters are being suppressed (think Holocaust)
Are beings other than humans allowed? If so, what type? - All beings are mutants. Only mutants.
Is magic allowed? - Not straight up magic. A character's mutation could be considered magic though...
