Name: Midnight Velvet
URL: p206.ezboard.com/bmidnightvelvet
Species allowed:
This is mainly a wolf RPG, though any creature may be played as long as it has a good history as to how it found it's way to the island.
Host:
Currently ezBoard. Though our website is hosted on x3fusion.com, and the forums will be moving there once our gold runs out.
Approximate member number:
At the moment we have around 20. Though members went down after the ezAttack and are just starting to grow again now.
Difficulty:
Suitable for all. We have a minium post length, though it is easy to reach and older members are willing to help new RPers with improving their posts.
Activity:
According to ezBoard stats we average at 12 posts per day.
We ask members to post at least once a week. Some members will be posting every day, others post fewer messages and island creatures may be less active if they wish. So our activity is quite varied depending on which members you RP with.
Are auditions of some sort required?
All we ask is that you read and agree to the rules and information provided and fill out a basic joining form.
Is there some sort of plot? If so, what is it?
Midnight Velvet is set on the fictional island of Chilaqi. The island is isolated and remote, no humans set foot there for years. Making it the perfect base for a group of scientists to carry out a secret experiment. But what was meant for humans gain turned and destroyed them, spreading throughout the island and becoming a highly infectious virus that all who set foot here shall gain. To humans it is deadly, but to other creatures it grants them an ability that could dramatically change the course of Island life. For more specific details go here
Is talking allowed?
Yes, the animals may communicate freely via body language or speach.
Are wings and magic powers allowed?
'Magical' powers are not allowed, though the virus has granted some creatures the ability to shift.
Other:
Midnight Velvet is an established wolf RPG that was founded way back in July 03. We're not going anywhere, so newcommers can be safe in knowing the game isn't going to fold up shortly after they join, as so many new games do these days. MV is here to stay.
