Long ago there was a war between the two sides, (light vs dark) They fought a bloody battle that raged for two years, causing much of the land to be blood soaked and worn with the constant pounding of hooves. Feathers lay strewn about the ground along with the body's of the dead. The spirits didn't approve of all the fighting, and soon grew angry at the two sides, calling forth the land and bringing it up into a huge mountain range that separate the two sides from each other.
Years have passed and now the two sides have been separated into their own lands and have their own leaders, a dark and light king. These kings are both descendants of the original kings that ruled and fought in the war.
